Nancy O'Dell's professional career started in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and reporter for news at WPDE-TV. In the following years, she worked as a the morning news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD-TV. Her reporting on the streets of Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases has led to an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the cases. Ms. O'Dell was awarded her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell, after her stint in Charleston reporting and anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving over to Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor during weekends. O'Dell is a leading anchor at Access Hollywood. In addition she is a contributor for NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She co-hosted several of pre-show arrivals for The Emmys as well as The Golden Globe Awards. She hosted both the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
