Nancy O'Dell's first job in the broadcast industry was as a reporter/anchor at WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She then worked as an anchor in the morning and a reporter for WCBD TV. In Charleston O'Dell's reporting on the lenient police approach towards DUI cases led to an State Law Enforcement Division investigation that resulted in State authorities issuing the strictest guidelines regarding the instances. Ms. O'Dell was honored by The Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year award for all media in South Carolina. Following her work in Charleston O'Dell worked as a co-anchor and investigative reporter for the NBC Miami station WTVJ-TV before joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and a weekday reporter. O'Dell is a leading anchor at Access Hollywood. In addition she has contributed for NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She has co-hosted a variety of pre-shows and arrivals shows to The Emmys as well as The Golden Globe Awards. The host of The Miss America Pageant as well as the Miss USA Pageant and Miss Universe.
